A Sunday Walk with cats

Troubles come, troubles go. Yesterday, they came. Unexpectedly, unfairly in my eyes, but what is fair and what is not doesn't quite matter. In order to get my head straight and accept the facts, I went on a little walk. Nothing fancy. It was another beautiful day, and the setting son allowed for some awesome pictures that I would like to share.

I climbed on rubble hills, was barked at by dogs, and stepped into cow shit while walking backwards for the perfect angle. It was beautiful. I enjoyed every second of this little mind clearing adventure, and was indeed able to contemplate on my situation. It's still unfair, which bothers me, but with as much stoicism that went through my mind since starting the Meditations, this might just be a test of my progress.

Or at least I want to see it that way. Makes it easier.

The clouds

This was walking out of the brewery where I had just modeled and enjoyed a few beer on discount, happily, before the dispute. I looked up at the sky and saw these clouds, running just right over the wall.

C1

C2 Here I chose the 3x optical zoom again, as everything in front of the wall was full of garbage.

C3 I first thought the light falling into the camera, causing the red spot would destroy the picture. But the form of it, the patterns, it's not too bad. What do you think?

Flora

F1 This is a Lupinus Succulentus. It's brother, Lupinus Mutabilis, is a staple for Andean food and considered a super food. I make a lot of spreads and dips out of those lupines.

F2 I just love this one. The stones hidden in the grass, the trees, the clouds. I got lucky.

Fauna

I was looking at an abandoned construction to see if I can find structures for B/W pictures. Instead, I found this sequence. I'm pretty sure there's a story to tell. Maybe you can tell it?

One for the road

The sunset, too, was a spectacle of colors. Loved that walk.

As always, any feedback and especially tips and tricks are very welcome! As long as it's not AI generated content or comment spamming... 😅

Thank you for stopping by!

All pictures are taken by myself with a Motorola Edge 60 Pro and I reserve the copyright - but you're welcome to ask if you'd like to use one of the pics!

This one is amazing. The clouds form leading lines and everything meets in a kind of centre. Well done!

That's a good commentary on what to consciously look for in pictures, thank you! I always look for symmetry, but you're right. It's everything leasing to the middle, to the sun. Even the stones in the grass. Thanks for making me aware!

Two moggies meet for a chin-wag far from the madding crowd. There they sit, contentedly batting the breeze, when suddenly close by, they hear the click of a camera.
"Ah for fuck sake" says Ringo, turning to have a gander, "there's no bloody peace to be had anywhere."
"Sure it's only yer man with his new camera" says Joe, lazily turning his head to see. "Oh no," says Ringo, leg it! "or next thing we'll find ourselves on the blockchain." "Nah," says Joe, "let's sit it out and give him the slanty-eyed stare. This could be a profitable gig for us, if we play our cards right"

I was hoping that you'd pick up on the story part and not be able to resist! Thank you! Poor little fellas, being involuntarily photographed. At least they're world renowned models now.

Nice shots, those cats are happy just hanging out. Sorry to hear about the cow shit! How does it feel to be back home in the warm weather again?
