Yeah, it was a challenge started around Actifit steps, then kind of extended to steps from any app. The idea is to walk at least 1000*day, so on the first day of the month 1000, on the 10th day of the month 10000 and so on. That was a fun and friendly competition, and for competitive people like me, it could be good motivation to walk more on some days. You can find the details at @poprzeczka, but it's ending unfortunately. Too much work and not enough fun for the organizer, and I can definitely understand.

Yeah, it was a nice challenge, fun and competitive! There was at least one post to start the month, and usually several ones with updates during the month, it's too bad it never reached you.

Wow, so the 30th you'd have to get to 30k steps? That would be quite the challenge... And yes, these days it's quite a lot of work to organize things like that :-D
Yeah, it does get very challenging as the month progresses. You can miss two days in a row without being eliminated. I believe the record is above 50, as it can go beyond the end of the month. My own record was in the mid-40s if I remember correctly. We'll see if we can revive it later, some automation would be required.
