Just as the Ecency Discord Meetup by @incubus ended on Friday evening, this time with guest LivingUKtaiwan, which was once again very nice and interesting, a mighty thunderstorm front appeared in the sky. As soon as the Meetup was over, it started... Lightning and deep thunder rumbling in the distance...
Gerade als Freitag Abend das Ecency Discord Meetup von @incubus zu Ende ging, diesmal mit dem Gast LivingUKtaiwan, was mal wieder sehr nett und interessant war, zog eine mächtige Gewitterfront am Himmel auf. Kaum war das Meetup beendet ging es auch schon los... Blitze und in der Ferne grollende tiefe Donner...

Photographing lightning in the sky with a smartphone is always a tricky business, but this time I managed to get a few nice snapshots.
Blitze am Himmel mit dem Smartphone zu fotografieren ist ja immer so eine Sache, aber diesmal sind mir ein paar nette Schnappschüsse gelungen.

First further away, then quickly approaching, it started to rain and I fled with the camera from the balcony to the window on the other side. Here I also managed to take a few more photos:

As you can hear at the end of the video, it started to hail and I quickly went back to the balcony to get the citronella, margarithe and peppermint to safety.

I completely forgot about the open window on the other side! :-( And when I remembered, it had actually rained through the open window up to 2 metres into the room! My old dressing table was wet up to 1.5 metres height! Crazy.
Völlig vergessen habe ich dabei das offene Fenster auf der anderen Seite! :-( Und als mir das einfiel, hatte es tatsächlich durch den Sturm durch das offene Fenster bis 2 Meter ins Zimmer geregnet! Mein alter Schminktisch war bis 1,5 Meter Höhe nass! Verrückt.

Ihr könnt euch vorstellen, womit ich den Rest des Abends verbracht habe...

But no matter, because I knew immediately that was no coincidence, those were two signs, two "breadcrumbs in my path" as I like to call them lately.
Firstly, I've been meaning to repaint this old make-up box of my great-grandmother's for a long time and it's also overdue to clean it out and tidy it up. Haha, it's freshly cleaned now thanks to the rain ;-)
Aber egal, denn ich wusste sofort, das war kein Zufall, das waren zwei Zeichen, zwei „Brotzkrümel auf meinem Weg“ wie ich sie in letzter Zeit so gerne nenne.
Zum einen habe ich schon lange vor, dieses alte Schminkkästchen meiner Urgrossmutter einmal wieder neu zu lackieren und es ist auch überfällig, es auszumisten und aufzuräumen. Haha, frisch geputzt ist es jetzt ja dank des Regens ;-)

Secondly, interestingly enough, in the photos of the lightning bolts I discovered exactly those patterns that I like to draw so much in my neuro-drawings. They really look like neurons, don't they? And my "Follow your Values" plan came back to me. To pay more attention to creativity again and to resume my Art Journal....
Zum zweiten habe ich interessanterweise in den Fotos der Blitze genau jene Muster entdeckt, die ich so gerne in meinen Neurozeichnungen zeichne. Sehen doch wirklich aus wie Neuronen oder? Und mein Plan für die „Follow your Values“ fiel mir wieder ein. Die Kreativität wieder mehr zu beachten und mein Art Journal wieder aufzunehmen...

Fascinating how the universe got me through this chemo day C10 beautifully, completely unplanned. There's not much new to tell about the therapy in the morning, it went very well. The only new thing is that I now have to take blood pressure lowering tablets, but at least the end of this therapy cycle is slowly in sight, because it ends in 6 weeks. If it goes according to plan. And then we will see what happens next.
I am out of my slump again, not least thanks to your valuable comments on the Daylilies post. First and foremost a comment that really helped me with a kick up the arse.
Faszinierend, wie das Universum mich völlig ungeplant schön durch diesen Chemotag C10 gebracht hat. Zur Therapie am Vormittag gibt’s nicht viel Neues zu erzählen, es lief sehr gut. Neu ist nur, dass ich nun blutdrucksenkende Tabletten nehmen muss, aber zumindest ist für diesen Therapie Zyklus langsam ein Ende in Sicht, denn er endet in 6 Wochen. Wenn es planmäßig verläuft. Und wie es dann weitergeht werden wir sehen.
Aus meinem Tief bin ich wieder heraus, nicht zuletzt dank eurer wertvollen Kommentare auf den Daylilies Post. Allen voran ein Kommetar, der mir mit einem Arschtritt echt geholfen hat.

No kidding! I have tried it several times and each time the imagination has made me smile and even scared away the negative thoughts in the long run.
Nun, jedes mal wenn ein negativer Gedanke auftaucht, stelle ich mir die beiden im Miniformat vor, wie sie um mein Gehirn herummhüpfen und sehr aufgeregt vor sich hin schimpfen :-D
Kein Scherz! Ich habe es mehrfach ausprobiert und jedesmal hat mich die Vorstellung zum Lächeln gebracht und die negativen Gedanken sogar langfristig verscheucht.
