Little Grasshopper

( EN / DE ) While looking through my unpublished photos of the summer of 2022, I discovered this neat little guy that I hadn't told you about before.

The determination of such animals is always a bit difficult, but I think it is a so-called "punctured grasshopper" and not in the adult, but still in the larval stage, so not yet fully developed.

Sweet and very curious it appeared to me. It could have jumped away at any time and hide in the grass, but it did not, but examined this strange taking pictures creature of the species "Homo Sapiens" very closely.

I wondered how it could hop with those very long antennae? Do they then bend backwards?
And it probably wondered how humans could move around without any antennae at all, and that this really lookes strange.

While it is probably on the red list in Germany and seen as endangered, it seems to be doing very well in Austria.

Kleine Heuschrecke

Beim Durchsehen meiner unveröffentlichten Fotos des Sommers 2022 habe ich diesen netten kleinen Kerl entdeckt, von dem ich euch bisher noch nicht berichtet hatte.

Die Bestimmung solcher Tierchen ist immer etwas schwierig, ich denke aber, es handelt sich dabei um eine sogenannte "Punktierte Zartschrecke" und zwar nicht im ausgewachsenen, sondern noch im Larven Stadium, also noch nicht fertig entwickelt.

Süss und sehr neugierig erschien sie mir. Sie hätte ja jederzeit davon hüpfen und sich im Gras verstecken können, tat sie aber nicht, sondern begutachtete dieses merkwürdige Wesen der Spezies "Homo Sapiens" sehr genau.

Ich fragte mich, wie sie mit diesen sehr langen Fühlern wohl hüpfen kann? Biegen sie sich dann nach hinten?
Und sie fragte sich wahrscheinlich, wie Mensch sich ganz ohne Fühler fortbewegen kann und dass das merkwürdig aussieht.

Während sie in Deutschland wohl auf der roten Liste steht und als gefährdet gesehen wird, scheint es ihr in Österreich sehr gut zu gehen.![]Kleine Heuschrecke
