Happy Week community @pinmaple this week I finally had it! the opportunity to go to Paseo Orinoco, the economic epicenter of my City, full of shops.

It was a rainy and cool afternoon, I had not been there since 2019 and since I live quite far from the center of the City, if I am going to make the effort to go down there, it must be an event!

I went with the intention of seeing what's new, walking around, visiting stores and buying some things I need, getting away from my usual online shopping. There were many convenient stores and to my surprise, many of the things I buy online can be found here even at a lower price.

Now, I cannot ignore the big white elephant in the room: the holes, garbage, poorly paved streets and all this made worse by the rain and clogged gutters.

However, I managed to make my purchases and I felt happy. Happy to do something so basic and even stressful for everyone but for me it is quite daring.

My daughter stood in a 3-day gas line just for this ride, and it meant the world to me to feel normal again.

Here I share photographs of the places where I was, mostly photos of our "Orinoco River" and the view of it from the boardwalk, where we sat down to eat and cool off from the heat.
