Time For A Hair Cut! And Molly Christmas Photos
How Could I Forget!!!
It is Saturday morning and I am sipping my coffee and going through my phone. I am at work waiting for the guys to come in, Get what they need for the day and leave so I can get out of the office, go home and get a few things done around the house. I know one thing that needs done when I get home and that is Molly needs some pampering. She needs her haircut, nails trimmed, and that sort of thing. Also as I’m going through my phone looking at her long hair, I’m thinking “my gosh I forgot to share her Christmas photos!”
First The Christmas Shots ..
I guess the holidays got away for me and I got back to work and totally forgot about sharing Molly‘s Christmas photos. I ended up getting a few good ones this year. It took a little bit of coaxing at first, like always, but then she cooperated and threw me for a loop. Usually she looks away and I get the cowering sort of I don’t want to do this shots.

While that one is OK, what I’m really looking for is something like these…
And then every once in a while I get lucky and get some thing like this .. A REAL WINNER!
She was a good girl and got a nice cookie for a treat after she worked the camera so well. Lol. We long ago put away all the Christmas decorations, tucking them back down in the basement safely for next year. I’m sure Christmas will be here once again before we know it. But before it arrives I am looking forward to some warmer weather and brighter days. I’m sure Molly is too. I don’t think she cares too much for the heat but does enjoy sitting outside with us when we are soaking up those summer vibes.
But before summer, and definitely before next Christmas, Molly needs a haircut.
That will be on the agenda for this afternoon. We gave her a bath last weekend so she shouldn’t need one of those for another week. Her poor paw hair needs trim something terrible as well as her nails. The rest of her doesn’t look too bad but she is starting to look a little bit shaggy. I will have to post again in a few days before and after shots.
Right now she is soaking up some sun. It’s a bit cloudy today but a little bit of sun came through the window and she moved over to it.
As soon as I took this picture she was back to her pillows and a wedge face.
I hate to wake her up and disturb her but she really does need that haircut.

Thank you 😊 I will do it myself. I purchased a few items a while ago when our groomer retired. We have been cutting it ourselves for about a year now. Not great at it but not bad either 😆

They lived for 15 years!!! 15 years of the best part of my life were spent with them.

awwwww.... my goodness. What heart ache ☹️ That is a lot of loss too close together. It was super hard loosing Pepper and I don't want to even think about loosing Molly yet, but we know she is 14.5 years old and full of problems. We just simply lover her all we can and make sure her little life is filled with as much joy and pleasure we can give her. She's a happy pup and that's all we can ask for. So sorry for your losses. My heart and my prayer go out to you.
That shot with your hand makes her look tiny. Is she really that small? Such a cutie. I just wanna smush my face into her fur.
She weighs roughly 7 lbs. She's small, especially when wet! lol
She is quite easily held in one hand while sipping wine from another! 😁

Molly looks so beautiful and cute. When a person spends some time with animals, his relationship with them becomes as if they are family members of his house. Then there is a love with him like a human being with each other, but even more than that.
Yes you are so very right! Molly is like our child.. We sometimes call her our 'Fur Baby' 😁 We love her like our own flesh and blood. 😊

Yup.. No stinky dogs around here!!! hehe. Now if I could get her to just pamper me once in a while 😏
Jo needs here nails cut too. It's like a horse on cobblestone when she walks across the kitchen floor! Probably won't get her in until she has her regular spring checkup. The Christmas photos look great!
Molly fights her nails being cut, but my wife just holds her tight and we get it done. Bigger dogs can be a bit more of a challenge I would imagine.
