Today I have taken some pictures of my hobby pigeons. I have loved pigeons since I was very young, so I have been raising pigeons. I know why I like pigeons very much. There is no person who does not love pigeons. The mentality of raising pigeons is very good. Now often, people are seen raising pigeons at home or in farms. Some people raise pigeons as a hobby, while others raise them to meet their financial needs. The pigeons that I raise are the Giribaj pigeons. I usually feed the pigeons twice a day and give them rice, wheat, corn, jaggery, mustard, and kaun along with the food. I sometimes use some medicine to keep the pigeons healthy. Again, after three months, I give Ranikhet vaccine. Because Ranikhet is a very serious and terrible disease for pigeons. Therefore, using Ranikhet vaccine gets rid of such terrible animals from the disease.

We keep pigeons as a hobby or to meet our financial needs on farms. Pigeons have played an immense role in meeting our meat needs. Pigeons have another quality, they were used as a medium for exchanging letters in ancient times. Although pigeons are wild animals, they are very easy to tame, so they have been named as domesticated birds. There are about 2000 varieties of pigeons in the world, but only 30 species of pigeons are found in Bangladesh. Currently, pigeon meat is being used to meet nutritional needs and meet financial needs.

Pigeon habitat
Pigeons can be kept in the caged or open-air system. Pigeons like to fly with their wings spread, so it is better to keep them in an open-air environment. This is how I have made my pigeon habitat. I have made it with bamboo and wood. I have left a living space of 1 foot by 1 foot for each pair of pigeons so that they can live comfortably. I have placed barricades on the side and front of the house to protect them from the attacks of wild animals. Again, plastic baskets can be used as a place for pigeons in the farm system.

Pigeon food
Pigeon food includes rice, wheat, corn, rice, khud, crown, mustard, kalai, brick powder, etc. In a word, it can be said that pigeons can eat almost all the foods that chickens can eat. Pigeons are very fond of eating salty foods.

Pigeon Diseases
Pigeons generally suffer from many diseases, such as cold-related diseases and diarrhea, Ranikhet, spring bird flu, etc.
