Playing with Coloured Powder

This is what happens when you play with powder paint

Funnily enough, this first image is actually one of the last shots I took on this shoot with Aiden and good mate and photographer buddy richgaynor. I just thought it was possibly more likely to grab your attention than some of the earlier shots.

This shot is from the first part of the shoot. To say this was an eventful shoot is perhaps the understatement of the year. We had set up our lights ready to shoot and this local came up and started kicking off. I won't go into details but if anyone out there knows of a village that is missing their idiot, let them know that I know where he is.

I've been working with Aiden for around seven years, although she is super focused at the moment and is holding down three jobs, plus her ballet/dance classes whilst still trying to be a young lady in her early 20s enjoying life. Its currently hard to schedule shoots with her, and this one is the first of this year.

All in all it was a great fun shoot, although I was really disappointed with the results. For the first time in years I had more unusable images than I had useable ones. A total school boy error, much too embarrassing to go into detail here. Suffice to say I will be paying more attention to what I am doing in future,

Mistakes have to be made in order to learn. You should be happy with this and not embarrassed. These are some great shots!!
Please, give my regards to Aiden and Rich 😊

@lallo I totally agree, always learning and mistakes can only just make that learning faster. And I will do 😁

Don't be too hard on yourself buddy. I took almost 200 shots today and didn't know if i had any good ones until i got home. Upon further inspection, even with my good ones out of that many to choose from, i was unhappy with the end results too. I always say, 'beggars can't be choosers!' hahaha

@castleberry cheers buddy. We all have our off days. Thankfully I was able to retrieve a few shots. But the hit rate was really down. I expect to have a few duffers, but I surpassed myself with this shoot 😂

What were you shooting today? Do you post your work on line?
