Monomad Challenge - Just Joe

Joe - his first shoot

Joe is a friend of a model friend of mine. He has been wanting to do a gym styled shoot for a while. So, as I was shooting with our mutual friend, he came along. It was the first time he had been in front of a camera (well other than for snaps and selfies).

Pumping iron

He wanted some shots for his social media and also some shots that he could refer back to over time yo gauge how he was progressing. In my opinion, he did well. He readily took direction and gave me some ideas of what he thought might work from a gym bunny's point of view.

Hold that weight

He is happy with the results and we're looking into Shoot Part Two, so there may be another batch of images to come at a later date. I've always admired people that work out and have a strict fitness regimen that they follow. It's something I've tried (well in my earlier years), but have never had the commitment that people like Joe have.
