Picture A Day - From today to tomorrow.

Life is a complicated thing and many philosophers were focused precisely on achieving an understanding of the essence of life its purpose.

For most of our lives we live tomorrow, even politicians shout from the stands that tomorrow we will live better than yesterday and today but in practice a different picture is obtained.

We accumulate our bank accounts to ensure our future but old age always follows inflation and what we have accumulated turns out to be empty one day.

When my grandmother died I opened a closet in her apartment.

You know there were supplies of matches soap toilet paper and detergents, dishes and other utensils for three full lives but she did not use this she spent her money in the hope that tomorrow she would be happier than yesterday.

She constantly saved on everything denied herself some things and joys, did not indulge herself in expensive things and delights in food although she could afford it which could make her present and past better more colorful but she looked into tomorrow day.

We rely on the fact that tomorrow real estate will be more expensive than today and we buy houses and apartments in the hope that we and our children will be provided for.

At the same time, we either pay exorbitant utility bills for empty apartments or let tenants into the apartments, who, gradually, turn your investment into a barn.

Or suddenly Russians attack your country and the city which was supposed to become a reliable stronghold of your future turns into ruins and ashes.

You studied at the university for a long time in order to get a good job but because of the war or a pandemic, you are deprived of this too.

You have bought many hectares of land to grow and sell vegetables or grains but tomorrow, instead of sprouts you see minefields on your lands.

Analyzing all this I understand how valuable today is and how sweet memories of yesterday are.
