My landscapes - Issue 76 from 11.26.2023 + contest for everyone who wants to share a landscape.
Based on the catchphrase that says that knowledge is power I involuntarily begin to think about weather forecasts which from year to year do not improve but on the contrary are more and more similar to the information that a gypsy fortune teller is ready to provide you at the local bazaar for a small fee or as she says: I’ll tell you everything if you gild my hand, lol.
Apparently institutions of higher education that specialized in the study of climate were gradually taken over by various charlatans and fortune-tellers who took a three-week course in predicting events using playing cards and chicken beaks after the rest of the chicken was boiled into broth.
Maybe I'm too demanding but I think it would be useful for everyone to know a more or less accurate weather forecast for at least a week so that they could somehow adjust their important plans for the week accordingly.
I think that the queues at the pharmacy would be shorter if people knew how they should dress depending on the weather and were less susceptible to overheating or vice versa to colds.
This photograph shows the imminent arrival of winter, and this is symbolic because weather forecasters predict a harsh winter and snowdrifts up to six meters in height which can cause some discomfort if you are not prepared for it.
But if someone has already run to load up on groceries at the supermarket it’s worth thinking about the fact that this may not happen and instead of snow it will be raining outside alternating warm sunny days with severe frost and weather forecasters will say about this when it’s already will happen.
