My landscapes - Issue 118 from 01.07.2023 + contest for everyone who wants to share a landscape.
I hope that no cats are harmed when viewing the next landscape photograph.
Any landscape, this little journey into the past and future, depends only on the imagination of the one who looks at the landscape.
At one time short videos on YouTube and TikTok were popular that showed that cats are very afraid of cucumbers yes ordinary green cucumbers, especially if you put the cucumber next to the cat while she is busy with something else.
It’s hard for me to predict a cat’s reaction if she really sees a very scary wild rabid cucumber which can sometimes be seen in nature and looks very dangerous.
It’s a little strange to me that there was no other name for this plant which only vaguely resembles a cucumber as a vine, and whose fruit has long spines instead of pimples.
Yes, also I think that cats are strictly forbidden to be near a wild cucumber during its ripening period because in addition to its terrible appearance a mad cucumber explodes and scatters seeds in different directions I’m not sure that the psyche of any cat will be able to survive this lol.
But if you are determined to introduce your cat to this plant then try to convince the cat that he is not a cat at all, but, for example... a turtle and he can always hide in his shell.
So this landscape in yellow tones shows the character of autumn where the crazy cucumber Ecballium elaterium grows.
