Monochrome photo for every day my personal photo challenge - 12/21/2023 - Issue - No.101 + a modest competition for everyone who wants to share a monochrome photograph.
For me this is a challenge, but for you, it can be a simple and easy read, or it can become a competition which you can read about below.
For the most part everything that we see in front of us, including ourselves has some characteristics including length height width, thickness and volume weight and density.
Typically these parameters remain either unchanged or change very slowly over time.
Even the oceans do not change the coastline very quickly and we see maps of the world with the unchanged shores of the continents.
If you think about who changes their particular parameters the fastest or does not have them at all then these are our shadows and the shadows of any visible objects.
They obey only the angle of the sun above the horizon and the direction of other light sources and you will never predict the size and contrast of your shadow in the next minute only its direction from the light source.
Therefore I think that the shadow is the leader among those to whom some parameters are applicable due to the absence of such parameters which is not subject to taxonomy.
Unfortunately I was unable to decorate my post with a GIF of the image I created, I was unable to upload it and I will do so when the opportunity arises.

This should be any monochrome photographic work; it does not necessarily have to be black and white, sepia and other variations are welcome, and it can also be monochrome photo collages.

Do you mean that hibiscus leaves are edible? I know that its flowers are edible and that in African countries children eat them as a substitute for candy, but I have not heard of other edible parts of this plant. 👍😃👀🐝🌼

I'm sure that the leaves of other Hibiscus are edible too, though perhaps not very palatable. This particular species is grown specifically for its edible leaves, which are soft and delicate, and quite nutritious. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
