Monochrome photo for every day my personal photo challenge - 01/10/2024 - Issue - No.121+ a modest competition for everyone who wants to share a monochrome photograph.
Science fiction writers have convinced us that a time machine is a device with many levers and gears many electronic devices wires and sensors dials and lamps but in fact everything is much more complicated, lol.
For me this is a challenge, but for you, it can be a simple and easy read, or it can become a competition which you can read about below.
One evening I needed to go to the railway ticket office to buy a ticket and this could not be done online.
My path led through a park through which a river flowed and I had to cross a narrow bridge to the opposite side of the river.
When I found myself in the middle of the bridge I heard a loud rumble and it was not the sound of train wheels or colliding train cars it was water falling from a height the kind that can be heard standing next to a waterfall.
I approached the edge of the bridge and saw a narrow place in the dam on the river from where water fell with a roar and splashes.
It was already dusk but I tried to photograph this water stream.
It seemed to me that I had been looking at the rushing water for no more than a minute but when I looked at my watch it turned out that half an hour had already passed and the railway ticket office would soon close.
I had to hurry because this miraculous time machine completely erased my sense of time and I found myself half an hour in the future although according to my feeling, I should still have been in the past.

This should be any monochrome photographic work; it does not necessarily have to be black and white, sepia and other variations are welcome, and it can also be monochrome photo collages.

Frugal contests modestly replenish the liquidity reserves of contestants through tips, and daily participation can make the modest very immodest, lol.
