Modesty in beekeeping and its impact on the beekeeper's income

Modesty in beekeeping and its impact on the beekeeper's income.

On the way to a very responsible occupation, or business, which is called beekeeping, it is useful to know all the pros and cons of this business, where to start and how to manage your business later.

An important question will always be the income from this business, because you need to understand why you are taking some risks, possible loss of funds, health, yes, health, beekeeping adds it to some people, and for others it can take away health, especially if a person is allergic to bee venom and bee products.

This is not an easy decision and you need to understand that every day, after the decision is made, you will have to climb a steep staircase up the mountain.

What is interesting is that beekeeping is a specific business, the profitability of which is not particularly affected by the innovations of progress and science, basically, only the work of the beekeeper, favorable weather conditions and the performance of the bee family.

Expenses on expensive equipment, such as various honey extraction devices, or very expensive hives, are not justified when it comes to income.

As one experienced beekeeper I listened to said, in beekeeping, the more modest you are, the less you spend, the more you earn, and bee colonies in a cheap and in an expensive hive will bring approximately the same amount of honey.

It's somewhat similar to drawing.

You can have expensive pencils, but you will not draw anything, but having a stub of a cheap pencil you will draw something worthwhile.

But even here in beekeeping there are nuances, for example, sometimes very tasty offers appear for the sale of used hives, but without knowing the history of these hives, this is very risky.

Yes, sometimes unscrupulous people sell hives in which bees infected with some incurable diseases lived, for example, "Foulbrood, or Melissococcus plutonius", and bees cannot be kept in such hives, they only need to be burned.

It is necessary to remember that the cheapest cheese is always in a mousetrap, therefore, the best option is to make the hives yourself, but from cheap lumber, or from polypropylene sheets.

Below you can see my containers with data that I collect in INLEO and always have quick access to them it is very convenient.

Material thoughts about beekeeping №1

When I visited dense forests, I did not see ideal conditions for bees there, but many beekeepers harvest beekeeping products in such places.

Did you hear about the cartoonist being investigated?
Police on the case say he has a sketchy past.

It doesn't matter if my wife tells me I'm not mature
I'm not going to let her enter my tree house without the right password

I feed a lot of Bees with all the flowers I grow in my yard. And I try to have some honey every day. I'm just not a bee keeper.

I just got my first honeybee nucleus about 2 weeks ago. Building my own hives and frames, but I've had to practically become a factory just to keep up with them!

Yes, the beekeeper cannot afford to relax, because his laziness will immediately affect the attitude of the bee colony to the queen bee, they will decide that the queen has begun to work poorly and will enter the swarming process :)
