Incredible marigolds.

I never cease to be amazed that many things that seem simple in appearance turn out to be very complex, very functional and extremely useful, make you think about many things.

An example of this can be plants, flowering plants that can be seen on many lawns and these are marigolds.

As long as I can remember, these flowers were considered the simplest and most unpretentious option to decorate a flower bed, but nothing more.

And, if you figure it out, these flowers are a real treasure, but its purpose must be understood and appreciated, someone will immediately see a jewel, and someone will think that this is a piece of glass and throw it aside.

So, the presence of these flowers on your plot of land, or at your neighbors gives you a reason to think about beekeeping, since these flowers are excellent honey plants and they bloom for quite a long time.

In addition, if you like to cook meat, then you will always have at hand a wonderful seasoning called Imeretian saffron, and although it is not real saffron from crocus stamens, it is an excellent addition to meat and other dishes prepared from dried marigold petals.

And, for me, the latest discovery was that marigold flowers help to scare away pests such as whiteflies from our garden, which are very difficult to deal with manually.

Quite recently, for me, these flowers were nothing more than someone's bouquet of flowers thrown into the trash, but now I understand that my view of these flowers was underestimating.
