Blood of ancestors

Looking through my photo archive in search of material for today's post I stopped at photographs that brought to my mind what we call the blood of ancestors.

This is what we most often remember when we want to make a family tree obtain citizenship of this or that country answer the question of our children who ask you to tell us who your great-great-grandmothers and great-great-grandfathers were.

But there are moments when the blood of ancestors suddenly shoots somewhere in the chest rises to the brain increases the level of adrenaline and turns a person who was calm a couple of minutes ago into an excited predator like a wolf who has sensed easy prey with his sense of smell and will not miss this sweet trail.

Most often I feel it when I find mushrooms and it doesn't matter if they were found in the city on the lawn the passion of my ancestors who loved to pick mushrooms like their ancestors does not leave me alone at such moments and the whole day I can no longer think about anything but mushrooms and where I should go for them lol.

This feeling is a strong instinct the blood of ancestors is not water it is the keeper of important information and it doesn't matter whether I find edible mushrooms or inedible ones I understand that the mushroom season has begun and it's time to get ready to hunt.

My father could walk tens of kilometers through the forest in search of mushrooms and my grandfather could fly on a duck hunt three thousand kilometers away carrying a very heavy suitcase with ammunition, at that time it was possible to do this within the country.

Apparently the blood of different kinds of hunters and fishermen is an explosive mixture that is impossible to fight.

But I don't want to resist it, I like mushroom picking fishing and hunting everything where the predator can come out in me.
