Little tour around Uniport ☺️
Returning to school has been more fun and stressful than I thought, starting from the meeting of my friends to the sudden assignments and tests I have to work on and to the movements for various registrations I have to make too. Well today, while walking around the school for lectures and various reasons, I won't really call it a tour but I decided to test my phone's camera and take some pictures of some places in school that I'll love to share with y'all.
The University of Port Harcourt {Uniport} or uni-stress as I like to call it, is a very big, broad and populated school seen as one of the best universities in Nigeria ranking 5th in the calendar considering it's good remarks, awards, research, creativity, innovation and students.
This morning I woke up with so much why's in my heart as I had a 7am class to attend to and it didn't make me feel good at all because i didn't sleep for even 5 hours last night due to an assignment I had to attend to before the following morning. Getting to class, New faces which I haven't seen for more than 7 months where just resuming and I guess it brightened my mood a little. I saw my close friend oma looking all tush and hot hot 😹,i saw some similar faces too looking all pretty 😍
After the 7am lecturers, we had an 11am lecture and we all had to go to another destination totally different from where our first lectures where. Like I said earlier, Uniport is a very broad and populated school that you can drive a long way still inside the school. Using the Uniport shuttle, you just have to pay the sum of 50 naira to go to anywhere around the school without stress. But one funny thing about these shuttles are that, they are always tight. I don't know if it's my luck but I always get to sit in the midst of people way more bigger than I am therefore suffocating the life outta me.😹
The shuttles all have a unique colour which are accepted by the school and these colors are beautiful.
Well, as a normal Nigerian university lifestyle, couple up with the half salaries being paid to the lecturers, my class didn't hold why? The lecturer said he didn't have transportation fare😹😹. It was so funny and annoying at the same time because I didn't have breakfast before leaving but it was at that time I began noting down what had happened.
But even as one of the best schools in the country, Uniport classes are not as beautiful as the name may sound. We have issues with inconveniences especially the lack of fan coz I don't even think of them mounting an air conditioner at all, causing unending sweat and then to the sits, gosh....so bad.
But what can I say, I still love my school because of it's beautiful environment and green nature of the grasses and trees.
After the long day, I tagged along with some friends and I sure did enjoy myself with enough food, drink and game in the love garden. With that, I can say I had a wonderful day well spent ☺️.
Pictures are mine, and some are with the permission of my friend.
Thanks for reading and visiting my blog ♥️
