Natural Garden - Pavullo nel Frignano

We are in the town where I live.
It is placed in Pavullo nel frignano, on Appennino mountains, in Emilia Romagna region, next to Tuscany region (Italy).

The main and most beautiful attraction of this small city is its natural garden, design and built by the German Carlo Huller in the first half of '800, around Ducal Palace, already estive residence of noble Estense family, who reigned in these places some centuries ago.

In the middles of this peacefull English and romantic style garden, there is an huge pine tree, called 'Pinone' because of its extraordinary height and size.
It took a risk to be cutted by German Army during the II world war (to take wood to be burned), and it had a problem some years ago (some branches crashed down), but it is still alive and it is one of most important vegetal monument of Italy.

The two middles pics in the collage has been taken in Pavullo center: on upper side the ancient part of the city, in the bottom the characteristic 'Vicolo Babbini', famous to be cited in the thriller book "L'orrendo delitto del vicolo Babbini" (The awful crime in Babbini lane' by the local writer Claudio Nizzi.

In this garden there is an ancient fountain, with its decadent and melancholy style, out of time...

I have taken some pics to water flowing down. First pic with regular time, second pic with a long time (I think 1/15 sec, or maybe a bit longer, by hand with the extraordinary stabilization of my Sony Alpha 7iii) to create the effect of liquid stalactites (they seem a sort of ice):

The light was warm, sun was down, creating many green shades.
It seems to me to be really in XIX century!

Another big tree is this one:

It has been magic to go under it, because of I have seen something never seen in my life: low branches sank in the ground, so they were branches and root at the same time!

Under this trees, I change my sight up, watching an intricate flow of big branches against first autumnal colors of leaves, like to be in a fairy tale!
