My Entry To Shadow Hunters / SMASh Contest- Round 288

We are on Mount Zatta, in Liguria, an Italian region between sea and mountains.

I love this place: beech forest is ancient and plenty of old trees, some of them very high, and others, near the ridge, low and with branches twisted by the wind.

During winter, sometimes low clouds appears, and sunrays, entering the wood, create special magical and rare effects like these ones:

It looks like a big warm fire behind trunks, and trees turn in spirits, where lights and shadows embrace each others.

Last rays bounce between leaves and branches, suggesting us to stay here... This is my true home.
