Encrucijada

I think this image shows the moment I am going through: a crossroads. I've been planting a lot of things and I've made resolutions to go in new directions or change certain issues in some particular areas. I am with many ideas and plans, with new readings and new energies. But calm and magic will guide the way, always listening to my inner voice.

I like to make works by putting together two images that relate to each other in some way. Generally this kind of works arise from being in the same folder or from having several open images that are connected to each other.

Details

The painting is a fragment of a piece of wood to which I made this base (with ink and oil) to start an oil painting. One of the things I decided to do is to make more physical things and less digital. I haven't painted or drawn for a long time and although it scares me a little, I know it's that way.
