At Sunday morning we went for a fun run XD and not just anyy fun run It's SpongeBob run! I have been waiting for this for a while now actually. I registered in April then no it's been 2 months and I don't think I've trained enough for this XD but I ran anyway!
A week prior to the race tough, I had to claim the race kits because I had the time for it ^^

On getting the race kits from the mall, I saw this giant patrick star that looked highly.... suspicious XD cuz that position looks like something else to me.

This is the content o my race kit. So I have he bib, the jersey and cute socks! My bib color was different because I was running a longer distance UwU
I took the 5km category while my sister's took the 3km one.

honestly I did try to give this like a training day for like a day or two in my week but since IK started lifting weights, my running stamina kind of dropped a little so my times aren't the same anymore.

Race Day!

So at 4am we left the house, navigated Makati city to get to the race venue. Thank God we got there early so we still managed to look around and get some pictures in. It was actuakky raining before we left the house so we were pretty sure the race would be canceled and I checked the forecast and it said that the rain would stop around 6-7am so won the first sign of the rain easing up, we just went for it cuz we did pay for the registration and all

I believe we got there almost 5 so we only had time to take a few pics, leave the bags at the baggage counter then I had to go to my categoy!

Here is me mid when I started then I ended up taking my shirt off mid run because Omg 5 kms in the summer was apparently a bad idea XD but I had to persist! I think I finished in around 35 minutes with alternating jog and walk? cuz my running stamina is just so bad lately and there were Iike areas that had water and bubbles in them so ya girl was really distracted.

This was about a few hundred meters from the finish line and I was so happy I did I that I broke into a sprint just for the photos.
Kind o sad cuz they charge 150Php for the photos nw but back then they sol the photos for like a bundle of 1-10pcs at just 30php so I kinda go disappointed there cuz Ithought I'd have a bunch of photos of me running his time around but oh well, you can't have it all

After the race though, we got to go to the Legazpi village Sunday market

Met the cutest cat on the way there tho and we got ice cream! and a bunch of food we ate on the way home!
All in all, it was a good day because we go to go hibernating after that run cuz for my mom and sisters, despite only doing the 3kms, they still rn and I'm proud of them for it!
