I've been gyming again ☺️
Hello hello and good evening from my side of the world!
I just finished my gym session and am already back at my work dorm, waiting to get sleepy and I just realized, I have never written about my gym progress in the past 2 months that I've been going so we need to do something about that XD
So yes, I've been in the gym near work since April and despite how low th membership prices are, the gym itself and the benefits are a lot more worth it than most mainstream gyms we have here in the philippines.

So this is one part of the gym ^^ It's actually a whole floor big s we have a total of 4 zones, this one is for the weights and at the far end is the glutes section Aka booty builder section and it's fun cuz mostly women use it

Then we also have a little gym Cafe that serves drinks with protein, creatine and a few other things that help boost muscle recovery, energy ad food that are protein rich so it's just perfect and made for a gym and that place has been a pretty good place to grab a bite in between, before after work outs.
I go there in between my gym classes to recharge actually because I burn food so fast.

This I my usual upper body work out set up so before ued the 1.25lbs plates, 2.5lbs plates mostly but now my base is at 2.5lb then I'm moving up to 5lbs and 7.5lbs but that's for like compound and functional strength training because I need weights that I can endure lifting and pumping for an hour or 2, depending on how many gym classes I have that day.
Basically I only train for 3 days, technically 5 but my week goes like this now:
Sat, Sun - Cardio = running (because I still join fun runs so I need my stamina to still be at a good level)
Monday - I have circuit class so that's functional and moving strength then I usually follow up with upper body so I usually hit chest, back and triceps finishers just to tire myself out
Tuesday - Chore day and meal prep day for food that will last me the whole week, sometimes eve longer
Wednesday - More circuits then hyrox so both just kill my endurance and functional strength there but these classes are just so worth it because I feel so much stronger every week because of these classes
Thursday - Body pump so it's a lot of barbell and plate use and I swear I have gotten so good at using barbells.

This is a photo I took after a body pump class and I swear I am so proud of myself for gaining muscles like this.

I also tried to do a spin class but spin classes are just not for me. Maybe when my stamina improves but who knows when that would be XD

Then this 2 months and I swear I think I'm making good progress on my weight loss attempt this year. Unfortunately I'm still at 66kgs but I'm hoping that my weight will drop to 60kgs or maybe lower this year. Just hoping XD

Look at that sloth buzz! I see you're taking the booty builder, uhm, I mean, glutes section seriously! I don't blame you for taking a pass on the spin classes, just thinking of them gives this sloth the sweats!
