February highlights and events
Hellloooooo
I'm back after who knows how long. February has been a roller coaster for me. The team I handle has been growing, the samples have been starting to pour and I'm nervous about this new hire i have because he's a little incompetent in the lab. He says he has experience but basing on how he moves in the lab, i sometimes think he might be lying.
Aside from the management level up on my part, I've also started gyming regularly. I go like 3-4 times a day now because I don't really have much to do after my shift lately. in cases where I don't get to head to the gym, I'm actually doing overtime. Though I only need to do overtime once or twice a week right now.
It's been helpful in a way, but the best part of gyming now is that i get to meet more people. I've made a few friends now in the month that I've been hanging out there. And I really enjoy the fact that they've been helping me build a work out routine.
Aside from all the gym and people things. I'm proud to say that during February, I finally experienced a face to face graduation!
I actually graduated during pandemic. That was in 2020. After 4 years, e were finally allowed to march up on stage
It was one of the most memorable days of this February! I got to see my old classmates and I definitely got to see my old professors again, looking proudly at each of us as we got up and got off the stage. Idk there was just something so fulfilling about finally having my dreams come true.
Then the best part is that I still got a few graduation gifts even though I've already graduated so long ago
I finally got the tablet I've been thinking of buying. It's a mi pad 6 and maybe on another blog, I'll show you guys what I've been working on since I bought my tab 🤣 cuz I've been practicing to go digital again.
Now it's march and I think I definitely need to pick up the slack again!
But for now, this is all from me for now. I'm still at work and I've mostly readjusted to studying, managing people, gyming and finding time to draw at night
Congrats Hanz...grabe tagal ng graduation march na to haha.. .
Mukhang tumaba ka Hanz hehe.

Yahallo Bananazell, how's the banana, charrr. Wahhh, but congrats, buti at they allow those who graduated before to have this face to face graduation. That's The best reward pa naman as a student diba, to wear a toga and all. Galing galing ✨✨❤️
ayun, the banana is hard for me cuz I'm so hot na 🤣
kidding aside. trueeee ang sarap sa feeling na magmatcha kahit super delayed na 🥹
Congratulations, lady :-) great to see you back with a deserved huge smile on your face!
Management huh? I can absolutely see you as a tough, dominating task master !
Hope you're proud of yourself of all your achievement because you should be.
Take care and my best wishes :-)
well the most eventful month so far is over so i can finally set a balance for myself again! And ues, I'm manager now and i kind of hate the promotion because i don't like this new hire I've been training 😭
But other than not making much progress with this newbie, I'm definitely proud of what I've been up to 😁 I'm enrolled in a lot of classes from this point onwards. I'm giving myself lots and lots of opportunities to grow this year
Congratulations on your graduation ceremony, Hanz! Sounds like you had a great February. You look so happy 😊.
well February was definitely a self love month for me 🤣 definitely was a happier month despite how busy it was
How's you though?
Self-love is important, for sure, everything else stems from the quality of that relationship.
Work life has been so demanding and difficult. Personal life has been great. I feel like I'm living 2 lives of 2 different people on 2 different planets 🥲.
damn you're close to being a jekyll and hyde case if you kerp that up 🥲🥲 they don't give you enough rest days or something?
😈😂😂. Saturday and Sunday, yep. But including commute time, I'm usually putting in 60-ish hours M-F.
i cannot even with that much hours outside 😭😭😭 i can understand now why you're so tired all the time
🤞 for a good change this year. The owners of the company are retiring soon, that will mean big changes. Time will tell! For now, just stay patient is what I tell myself.
I hope March is even better than February was for you. Things are looking up! 💖
i hope they're good changes though 🥹 cuz if it's bad changes, it would be better to just leave there 🥲 let us manifest all good things in march!
Haha! Yes, I second that! Good vibes, please 💖.
Congrats on the overdue graduation. I'm curious, what kind of lab are you handling?
ahh I'm handling a mining lab
Interesting. So do you have an EDXRF? 😅
oh we do, actually. we just had it installed last week and i haven't checked in with the technician yet to see if it’s operational now. i think we still have to do method validation on it
Nice. I might just contact you if we have a need for it. 😂 Do you accept outside requests?
hmm you'll need to do walk in forms and if need of sample prep. i feel like you might have a history with our company tho if you're affiliated with mining na talaga
Not really. I also work in a lab, that's why.
ahhh gets gets. i feel like competitor lab yan smh
