Guests of the Bronze Horseman

Of course you know this monument. It is a symbol of St. Petersburg (in fact, the city has many symbols, but it is the most recognizable).

Yes, It's the Bronze Horseman. Emperor Peter 1 sits on a horse. There is a lot of symbolism here, but my post is not about that.

This monument is installed on the Senate Square. As you can see, there are no cars here, but there is a large lawn. Atypical for city squares.
