Diwali and the celebration related pics

Hi to everyone, as I am posting for the first time in the Indian community here on Hive (I didn't know this community some time back)

I know I am late with Diwali related post, but now here I am

This time, it was a busy time as we were having home renovation work at home, with some still pending.

So, here are my pics from the day.

Tied turban after a long time with new colors

I visited Temple(Gurudwara) with my cousin as well

Everywhere was decorated with lights, lamps, and candles

Got some of these electric lamps as well to try new

and this me trying something with photography and angles, showing the light when there is darkness

Because India is a multi-religious country, we do celebrate Diwali as well as Bandhi Chorr Diwas (Jail Release Day)

Diwali everyone knows is celebrated because Shri Lord Rama returned to his kingdom after 14 years of staying in exile and people celebrated the day with lights

Same for us Sikhs, we celebrate Bandhi Chorr Divas, on the occasion of the day when our 6th Guru, Guru Hargobind Singh Ji came out of prison and released along with 52 Hindu Kings from the Gwalior Fort by making them pick the Kalgi on his dress and following behind.
So, we celebrate the same with lights and sweets.
