Gosh! This is like a dreem come true for you being able to travel without caring about the cost shows how enthusiastic you are toward Venice. And I am glad the language barrier stuff was settled.
About not staying with the crowd, I get. Which sane person would want to do that with a camera in hand. Hehe.

Yes and when I came back to the Netherlands, my bank account was completely empty 🤣. I haven't written the full experience, gonna write about it soon hopefully.
