Just one last glance… for now.

It is amazing how time flies by like it is on its way to meet it, lover. Morning came with lots and lots of cleaning from me. The moment I ended my usual morning routine, I started with sweeping and then kitchen work. Washing and finally cooking.

Thankfully, the cooking went fast as I had prepared the hard part the night before and had it refrigerated. While the pot was vibrating as usual to the presence of fire beneath it, my legs led me to the toilet and bathroom cleaning. Immediately after that, I washed the little dirty clothes around, including shoes and bags ready for traveling before picking up the mob to get the tiles clean.

By the time I was through with that, the food was ready, and I had to shower because of the ever rainy water on my skin. I ate after and relaxed a little before opening my chrome to find affordable hotels to stay at. And that was where the exhaustion came in.

It was tiring going back and forth, my eyes glued to my phone screen trying to find the ones that met my budget and after hours and hours of research, I finally connected with one which exceeded my budget a little. But, it was nice, so I just had to go with it. Having that sorted out, I was finally able to start with arranging and rearranging until I was sure everything needed made it to my backpack.

After settling with that, time had already taken shape toward evening but, the weather wasn't giving that vibe. The sun was so high up that it felt weird. I already had it planned that I would be going out for a walk when I had things sorted out so I didn't waste time heading out because I needed something to take along with me during my journey.

The suns’ beauty glare was the first thing that I kissed my skin the moment I stepped out and I would have whined as usual but maybe because I knew it was my last day here(for now) I found myself smiling at the sun and just like that, I took once last glance at the sky as I headed toward the supermarket and finally for a walk.

And right on my way back, I could feel the thunder and lightning before the sky showed its colors. Heaven roared so loudly that I thought just for a second if the world was coming to an end. Halfway through my journey back home, the sky finally let out its tears. Maybe it knew it was the last time it would see me around the area this year, or maybe it was just the rain.
