Hello everyone

On the evening, from February 7 to 13, the Robinson town square lit up with a vibrant night market in front of the big department store. These night markets were pretty common, but I didn't always make it there, even though it was close to my place. See, the evening traffic from my village to the Robinson store was a nightmare. It could get so jammed up that it felt like you weren't moving at all. That made going to the Robinson Department Store a real drag, and I often didn't feel like dealing with it.

But yesterday was different. At around 6 pm, my husband and I realized we were out of dinner ingredients. With our stomachs growling, I reluctantly decided to brave the traffic and ride my motorcycle to the Robinson store for a meal from the night market.

As I got there, the market was in full swing. Colorful stalls, the smell of food cooking, and the warm glow of lanterns created a lively scene. Despite the earlier hassle of traffic, the market's energy was contagious. Local vendors showcased their delicious offerings, from grilled skewers to steaming noodle soup. Wandering through the stalls, I couldn't resist the tempting smells. The variety of food made choosing dinner a bit of a challenge.

The night market was a bustling scene, with a myriad of shops offering all sorts of exotic and delicious food. The abundance of choices made my decision-making process quite challenging. Before diving into purchases, I decided to take a stroll and explore all the different stalls to see what was on offer. The variety was impressive. Stalls lined the streets, each one boasting its unique culinary delights. There were sizzling grills sending up tempting aromas, and colorful displays of sweets.

Taking my time, I wandered through the market, visually sampling each stall's offerings. I wanted to make sure I didn't miss out on any hidden gems. It became a kind of culinary adventure as I considered the options and mentally debated what might satisfy our taste buds.

The question loomed: Were there foods that my husband and I would particularly enjoy? It added a layer of complexity to the decision-making process. The goal was not just to find something delicious but to discover those special dishes that would make the night market experience memorable.

As I continued my exploration, the vibrant atmosphere and the enthusiasm of the vendors drew me in. Eventually, I spotted some familiar favorites – dishes my husband and I were fond of. It brought a sense of relief and excitement, knowing that the night market had something for everyone.

Armed with this newfound knowledge, I confidently approached the stalls, ready to make my selections. The difficulty of the decision transformed into an enjoyable challenge, and the anticipation of a delightful dinner grew with each step.

With kebabs and lasagna secured for my husband, I turned my attention to finding something delightful for my own dinner. That's when I stumbled upon a stall showcasing long French fries, proudly declaring that their ingredients were imported from Japan. The mention of Japan triggered memories of a past trip with my husband, where I had the chance to savor some truly exquisite French fries recommended by a friend working there.

The thought of those delicious Japanese fries instantly convinced me to add them to my dinner plans. Eager to relive that culinary experience, I decided to join the line forming in front of the stall. Two queues stood ahead of me, but the wait wasn't too lengthy, and the anticipation only heightened.

Finally, with a container of Japanese-inspired French fries in hand, I proceeded to another stall to round out my dinner. This time, I opted for four sticks of roast beef, ensuring a satisfying and diverse meal.

Initially, I intended to enjoy my French fries right there at the night market, as they provided tables for customers to sit and savor their treats. However, as the evening progressed, the crowd swelled, prompting a change of plans. The growing sea of people led me to reconsider, and I decided to take my delectable finds back home to share with my husband.

Returning home, we indulged in our diverse night market feast, sharing stories about the day and relishing the flavors of our culinary discoveries. The decision to bring the feast home added an extra layer of coziness to the evening, turning a simple dinner into a shared experience with the one I love.
