Hello everyone

I spent about two weeks at my sister's place. But my husband and son kept telling me it was time to head back home, and honestly, I was starting to feel it too. I missed our own space, our routines, everything. When I finally decided to leave, my sister and mom weren't too thrilled about it. They wanted me to stay longer, but I knew I had to go back.

So, this morning, I got everything ready to go back home. And I decided to take my granddaughter with me because she had final exams. It felt like a good time to make the trip back, even though it meant leaving my sister and mom behind. But hey, family's family and I couldn't wait to be back with mine.

Together, we set off on the road back, the car filled with laughter and the promise of new beginnings. My heart fluttered with a mix of emotions - sadness at leaving my sister and mother behind, but also a deep-seated joy at the thought of reuniting with my son and husband.

As we drove, my granddaughter chattered excitedly about her upcoming final exams, her enthusiasm infectious. And with each passing mile, I felt the weight of homesickness lift, replaced by the eager anticipation of returning to the place where love resided in every corner. The journey back was not just a physical one; it was a journey of the heart, a reminder that no matter where we go, home is where our loved ones are waiting with open arms.

Traveling between Tak and Phuket provinces has become a routine for me since the end of last year. It's a long drive, and it definitely takes a toll on my energy. Thankfully, my niece has been accompanying me on these trips, and we've found a little haven to refuel both the car and ourselves along the way.

Stopping at gas stations has become a bit of a tradition for us. These places are like mini-oases for travelers, with everything from food to restrooms available. One particular gas station stands out to me - it's like a hidden gem. The restaurant there is designed in a beautiful Japanese style, and it's always a pleasure to step inside, even if it's just for a quick break.

Unfortunately, time is always ticking, and we never have enough of it to sit down and properly enjoy a meal. So, our visits usually consist of grabbing a few quick photos to capture the serene atmosphere before hitting the road again. One thing that's a constant companion on these trips is my trusty green tea. It's become my go-to drink for staying energized during long drives. There's something about its refreshing taste that keeps me alert and focused, even when the road seems endless.

So, as we continue to make these journeys back and forth, I find comfort in these little moments at the gas station - a brief pause in the hustle of travel, a sip of green tea, and the company of my niece, making each trip a bit more bearable and even enjoyable.

Whenever I make the trip back home to Phuket, there's one stop that's an absolute must: Doi Muser Market. This place has become a tradition for me, a pit stop filled with vibrant colors and enticing aromas.

Doi Muser Market is a bustling market that's a treasure trove of fruits and souvenirs. As soon as I step inside, I'm greeted by rows upon rows of fresh, juicy fruits, each one more tempting than the last. From sweet Melon to Grape, there's a rainbow of flavors to choose from.

*But it's not just the fruits that draw me in; it's also the array of souvenirs that line the market stalls. As I navigate through the market, my senses are overwhelmed in the best way possible. The sights of colorful fruits piled high.

I take my time strolling through the market, sampling a few fruits here and there, chatting with the friendly vendors. Each visit is a new experience, a chance to discover something unique and special. And as I leave the market, laden with bags filled with fruits and souvenirs, I can't help but smile. This little detour to Doi Muser Market has become a cherished part of my journey home, a reminder of the vibrant spirit of Phuket that I carry with me wherever I go.

We pulled up to my niece's dorm in front of Rangsit University around 3:00 p.m. Her dorm was cozy, with typical student life - books, notes, and posters everywhere. As the evening went on, we laughed and shared stories, losing track of time. But with 910 kilometers left to reach my home in Phuket, I knew I had to start early the next day to avoid getting home too late.

So, we drifted off to sleep, ready for an early start. Tomorrow would be a long journey back home, but for now, I was happy to be with my niece in her dorm room, looking forward to our trip back to Phuket in the morning.
