Discovering the Peaceful Beauty of Thararak Waterfall 🌿✨
Hello everyone
Today was my day off, and I started my morning with a hair-straightening appointment at my friend’s salon. I usually straighten my hair once or twice a year because my hair is naturally wavy, but I prefer it straight. It took about four hours to complete the process. 💇♀️✨
After finishing my hair, I headed straight to Thararak Waterfall, a place I had planned to visit many times but somehow always missed. Most of the time, I end up going to Pha Charoen Waterfall instead, as it’s my favorite spot in Tak Province. The lush greenery and refreshing atmosphere there never fail to draw me back every time I visit my sister. 🌳💦
Unlike Pha Charoen, Thararak Waterfall is smaller, and the weather tends to be hotter around that area. Because of that, I usually avoid going there. But this time, I was determined to visit since it had been many years since I last saw it.* 🌿✨
As I approached the entrance to Thararak Waterfall, I could see a golden pagoda perched elegantly on top of the hill. It's a striking sight, gleaming brightly against the sky. 🌄✨
Despite visiting this area several times over the years, I've never actually made the effort to go up and explore the pagoda. It's something I keep telling myself I'll do someday, but somehow, it always ends up on my “next time” list. 🙈💭
The parking area inside the waterfall grounds was spacious and well-organized. 🚗✨
Today was the first time I had seen such a clear blue sky since arriving in Tak Province to visit my sister. 🌤️💙
Previously, the air had been filled with hazardous PM2.5 pollution, making the atmosphere feel heavy and unpleasant.
Seeing the bright, clear sky felt so refreshing and uplifting — as if nature itself was welcoming me back. 🌳😊✨
At the base of Thararak Waterfall, there was a large reservoir surrounded by lush greenery. 🌳💦
To my surprise, they even had paddle boats available for rent, offering visitors a fun and relaxing way to explore the calm waters. 🚤✨
The sight of the boats gently drifting across the reservoir added a lively and charming touch to the serene environment.
The reservoir was also home to a large school of fish, eagerly waiting for visitors to feed them. 🐟✨
Their vibrant scales shimmered under the sunlight as they swam gracefully near the water’s edge, creating a lively and enchanting scene. 🌊💙
It was clear they were used to being fed by tourists, eagerly gathering whenever someone approached with fish food.
Thararak Waterfall is a small waterfall that flows gently from the top of the hill. 🌳💦
Unlike larger waterfalls with dramatic tiers, this one has a simple, continuous flow that gently cascades down to the reservoir below. Although it lacks distinct layers, the clear, refreshing water is still suitable for a relaxing swim or simply enjoying the coolness of the surroundings. 🌊✨
The water flowing down from the waterfall gathers into this large reservoir, creating a calm and peaceful scene. 🌊✨
Around the reservoir, there are several small pavilions scattered along the shoreline. These pavilions provide cozy spots for visitors to relax, enjoy the view, and take in the natural beauty of the area. 🌳🛖💚
It's a well-designed space that perfectly balances nature and comfort, inviting everyone to unwind and enjoy the serene atmosphere.
The large reservoir is beautifully enhanced by a wooden bridge that stretches across the water. 🌊🌉
Not only does the bridge serve as a convenient walkway, but it also acts as a picturesque photo spot, perfect for capturing the tranquil scenery. 📸✨
The rustic charm of the wooden bridge blends seamlessly with the natural surroundings, making it a popular spot for visitors to stop and take photos. 🌿💚
After spending time exploring Thararak Waterfall, I felt truly refreshed and inspired. 🌿💚
Despite its small size, the waterfall offers a peaceful atmosphere and natural beauty that is both charming and relaxing. The combination of the tranquil reservoir, wooden bridge, and lush surroundings makes it a perfect place to unwind and appreciate nature. 🌳🌊✨
Visiting this waterfall reminded me that sometimes, the simplest places can bring the greatest joy. It's not always about grand or popular destinations — it's about finding beauty in the quiet corners of the world. 😊💚
I left Thararak Waterfall with a sense of calm and gratitude, promising myself to return again someday. Until then, I’ll keep the beautiful memories of this peaceful place close to my heart. 🌼✨

the place looks so peaceful with astonishing pictures as yours usual, that is a ton of catfish with some carps, I use to have two Koi Fish (cheap ones jejeje) but they quickly outgrow the tank I had them in so I gave them away to someone with a pond, I bet you have to be one of the biggest accounts on Hive when it comes to tourism content 😄 , so many place during the year ✌️

I totally get the struggle of wanting straight hair mine’s wavy too and it takes forever to style haha
I have winter outside, you have summer. That's why I'm interested in reading your report.
What a beautiful place. It looks like a work of art well it may be is the work of the combination of man and nature. Thanks for sharing.
