An Unforgettable Day at Yanui Beach

Renting a kayak at Yanui Beach was a popular activity for tourists and locals alike, and for good reason. With its stunning scenery and stunning sunsets, kayaking at Yanui Beach was an experience unlike any other. Yanui Beach offers hourly kayak rentals for only 100 baht ($2.96 USD), attracting a diverse crowd of Thai and foreign tourists, especially in the evenings before sunset when the temperature is cooler and the sunset is breathtaking. Kayakers can paddle from Yanui Om Beach to the neighboring Nai Harn Beach or venture further to Promthep Cape.
As I paddled along the coast, I was surrounded by tour boats, each anchored in place and waiting for the sunset to arrive. On either side of me, tourists kayaked in groups, enjoying the calm waters and the stunning scenery. Some stopped to take pictures, while others continued paddling around the small island just off the coast.
I was determined to paddle to the small island and watch the sunset from there. But as I neared the island, I started to feel dizzy from the rocking of the boat. The heat of the day was also taking its toll, and I found myself feeling increasingly fatigued. Despite my best efforts, I was unable to make it to the island in time to see the sunset. So instead of trying to reach the small island, I decided to paddle ashore to go watch the sunset at Nai Harn Beach instead.
