A Quiet Walk on Saphan Sarasin 🌉💙
Hello everyone
This morning, the sky was bright and clear, so I decided to drive toward Saphan Sarasin — a place I hadn’t visited in a long time. Even though it was still early, the heat had already made itself known. ☀️
Despite having lived in Phuket for many years, getting lost is still something I manage to do quite often 😅. I crossed Saphan Sarasin three times trying to find the parking area on the Phuket side — yes, that’s very me!
Eventually, I gave up and stopped to ask a local nearby. Luckily, a kind person kindly pointed me in the right direction. I managed to park close to the bridge so I wouldn’t have to walk too far — mission accomplished! 🚗
The weather was absolutely lovely — clear skies above and the sea shimmering in the same shade of soft blue. 🌤️ The atmosphere on Saphan Sarasin was calm and peaceful, with just a handful of tourists passing by.
Since it’s currently the low season, the area wasn’t crowded at all. That made the visit even more relaxing — just the sound of the waves and the gentle breeze to keep me company. 🌬️🌊
Here and there, I saw a few local residents and children quietly fishing off the bridge. 🎣
It was a simple and peaceful scene — the kind that makes you smile without even realizing it. Life here moves at its own gentle pace. 😊
Standing on the bridge, I paused for a moment to take in the breathtaking view. The sky and sea blended into one endless stretch of blue, calm and wide open. 💙
Looking out from Saphan Sarasin, I felt a quiet sense of freedom. There was something about the simplicity of this scene — the gentle waves, the soft horizon, and the stillness of the morning — that brought a kind of peace I didn’t know I needed. 🌊
I began walking along the pedestrian path of Saphan Sarasin, feeling the heat rising from the concrete but also enjoying the steady breeze brushing against my skin. 🌬️
The bridge is no longer used for cars, which makes it a perfect place for a quiet stroll. The gentle curves of the yellow railings and the old-style lamps give it a slightly nostalgic charm. ☀️
As I slowly made my way back across the bridge, I took one last look at the calm sea and the quiet horizon. There was no rush — just me, the wind, and the gentle sound of water below.
Places like this don’t need much to impress you. They just exist — simple, peaceful, and steady — like a quiet friend waiting with open arms. 🌤️
Even though I’ve lived in Phuket for years, moments like this remind me that there’s still so much beauty in the familiar. Sometimes, it’s not about discovering something new — it’s about seeing something old with new eyes. 👣
If you ever find yourself near the northern tip of Phuket, don’t rush past Saphan Sarasin. Take a walk, take a breath, and let the stillness speak to you.
Thanks for joining me on today’s little escape. 😊
