Yesterday was my day off — a time I always look forward to because it means exploring new places and revisiting old favorites. Late in the morning, after taking a shower and having breakfast, I set off to visit Nang Kruan Waterfall. This small waterfall flows gently under a bridge in Phop Phra Village, and I hadn’t been there in nearly 30 years. It was the very first waterfall my friends and I used to visit when we were kids, playing and swimming with pure joy.

Back then, traveling long distances was difficult because we didn’t have a car. Going anywhere meant walking, and Nang Kruan Waterfall was the closest and most accessible destination for children like us. It holds so many beautiful childhood memories for me. 🌳✨💦

Over the span of 30 years, so much has changed around Nang Kruan Waterfall. The surroundings have evolved, with new structures built nearby.

Close to the waterfall, there is now a pavilion housing a revered Buddha statue worshipped by the locals. Nearby, a large, radiant golden Buddha statue stands majestically, its presence striking and beautiful. ✨🙏🌳

After paying my respects to the Buddha statues, I walked over to Nang Kruan Waterfall, which was just a short distance away.

The area was shaded by tall, majestic trees, creating a cool and peaceful atmosphere. There were beautiful pathways leading into the waterfall area, along with numerous small pavilions perfect for relaxing and enjoying the natural surroundings. 🌿✨

As I wandered through the familiar paths, I couldn’t help but feel a tinge of regret. It had been 30 years since I last set foot here, and I wondered why I hadn’t visited sooner — especially since it’s so close to my sister’s house.* 😌💭

Nang Kruan Waterfall is a small, gentle waterfall, with streams that flow in various directions.

In some areas, the water collects into shallow pools that are perfect for a refreshing dip, while other parts resemble flowing creeks weaving their way through the rocks. 💦✨

What truly makes this waterfall special is its natural charm — the lush, thriving forest that surrounds it. The abundant greenery and tranquil shade create a peaceful, untouched atmosphere that feels almost magical. 🌳🌼

These towering trees have been carefully preserved and maintained over the years, allowing them to grow incredibly tall and majestic. 🌳🌳✨

Their massive canopies provide cool shade, enhancing the peaceful and refreshing atmosphere of the waterfall area. It's clear that this place has been well taken care of, allowing nature to flourish beautifully. 🌿💚

Spending time at Nang Kruan Waterfall after all these years felt like reconnecting with a precious part of my childhood.

The serene atmosphere, the gentle sound of flowing water, and the shade of the towering trees all combined to create a sense of peace I hadn’t felt in a long time. 🌳💦✨

Even though the area has changed and developed over the years, its natural beauty and tranquil charm remain as captivating as ever.

I'm grateful I decided to visit this place again and revive those old memories. It reminded me that some places, no matter how much time has passed, will always hold a special place in my heart. 💚🌼

I left Nang Kruan Waterfall with a smile, feeling refreshed and inspired. I promised myself I wouldn’t wait another 30 years before visiting this beautiful place again. 😊🌳✨
