Monomad Challenge- Portraits of Life on the City's Edge
Hello hiver
Hello everyone, how are you
I'm back with a black and white photo of me that you might like and this is my entry
That morning, I woke up early to photograph the activity on the streets. For my first shot, I had planned to capture the activity under the overpass and the hustle and bustle of people amidst Jakarta's traffic jams.
There, I saw street vendors and workers buying breakfast in the narrow streets that serve as the livelihoods of the vendors who seek their fortune in the city.
From a distance, I photographed a traveling vendor pushing a cart filled with his wares. His face looked tired, but he continued to move forward, walking along the asphalt city streets with a load in his hands, hoping to sell his wares.
This is the reality of the crowds. Behind the lens is a long story of survival in the middle of a city that never sleeps.
