Monomad Challenge-Coffee Trail in Tanah Gayo
Hello hiver
Hello everyone, how are you
I'm back with a black and white photo of me that you might like and this is my entry
Cool air greeted us when we arrived in the mountainous area of Bener Meriah Regency, Aceh Province.
A very pleasant journey among the forests and coffee plantations, as we were about to head to the Tanah Gayo highlands, one of the best Arabica coffee producing districts in the world.
Shady trees, accompanied by rows of coffee trees growing and arranged neatly, shrouded in thin mist between the mountains. We found this view along the way.
We stopped at a viewing post, in the middle of a stretch of coffee plantation that looked like a green carpet stretching out, with newly grown coffee trees side by side.
Once there, we continued our journey on foot. following the natural rocky path, while enjoying the fresh air amidst the silence of nature.
In the middle of the journey to the coffee plantation, we met a local coffee farmer. He also welcomed us warmly, while sharing stories about the long process that goes through from planting, caring for to harvesting coffee beans.
I also saw many coffee trees bearing heavy fruit, and starting to turn red and some of them were still green hanging from their trunks and branches. This is a hard work process that requires perseverance and patience.
This journey is not just a visual journey, but an experience that made me realize that the cup of coffee we enjoy every day comes from the persistence of farmers in the Gayo highlands. Land that is not only fertile, but also holds local wisdom.
