Monomad Challenge-Busy People Amidst the Bustle of the City
Hello hiver
Hello everyone, how are you
I'm back with a black and white photo of me that you might like and this is my entry
One night, I was hunting for moments, capturing human movement using the panning technique. The spot I visited was a busy pedestrian bridge.
The repetitive city lights provided an ideal backdrop for capturing moments of movement.
With my camera set to a slow shutter speed of around 1/20 to 1/30 of a second, I had to patiently wait for each subject to pass by. My focus was not only on technique, but also on the expressions and direction of the people's movements.
As someone passed by at a constant speed, my camera lens followed their movement horizontally, keeping the subject sharp while the background became blurred lines, giving a sense of speed and direction.
I did produce many less-than-satisfactory shots, sometimes too shaky, with the subject blurred, or the composition off. But I tried to capture images with the right instinct.
This is the panning technique I applied patiently and precisely amidst the hustle and bustle of Jakarta's city life.
The moment you captured are stunning, I love the way the movement are, you did a great job.
