One of the endemic species of Sumatra.

Hello friends who are always loyal here, especially those of you who love feathered animals. How are you guys doing?
Surely always in the best condition. On this occasion I would like to share about a bird known as the Sumatran Dwarf Quail or with the scientific name Polyplectron chalcurum. This bird is one of my pets that I found in nature. Because of its beauty, I was interested in keeping it. Here is a photo of the bird.

Polyplectron chalcurum is one of the endemic species of Sumatra. A dark brown ground bird, endemic to the mountain forests of Sumatra. The body is elongated, with a small head and a long tail with black bars. Males are generally larger than females, and have a shiny purple patch on the tip of the tail.

I hope you like it and find it useful. I thank you very much for being so well received in this community. I'll take my leave, hopefully we can meet next time. Thank you for everything. Greetings from feathered animal lovers.
