Hello to all friends. I hope you are well. I am happy to have another Wednesday in this forum with you friends and dear tattodjay management.

During a short trip to the capital of the province, we decided to visit Vakil Abad Zoo with friends. As soon as I entered the parking lot, I felt sick. I felt sorry when I saw the state of care of the zoo. Why should there be so little care for such places.

Vakil Abad Zoo is one of the oldest zoos in Iran, after its establishment in 1359 AH, many animals were transferred to this place. It has an area of about 4 hectares, which contains many animal species.

But unfortunately, in recent years, with little attention from officials and related personnel, it has gone out of its original state and needs more attention in every way. But all those who are interested still visit this environment.

Let's take a ride inside this zoo.

First, I turned around a bit and decided to visit the monkey cage. Because I knew they are more attractive and naughty.

The monkeys had very funny movements. Someone was sitting behind the bar and was looking here and there. One of the bars was going up and down. And another one seemed to like to communicate with the people who are looking at them and to be a little angry.
In short, it was very interesting and we liked to just look at them.

This monkey was very angry and took a defensive posture. One of our friends who was with us wanted to make this monkey more angry and kept hitting his head.

Or someone like this had a very innocent face.

The monkeys had several cages. I took a picture of the sign above the door of one of the cages. There was a species of baboons that had a red color on their backs, as you can see, and it was interesting to me. And I had never seen it before.

I always wanted to visit the cage of lions, leopards and tigers. When I looked for their cage, there was a lady there and she said that one of the biggest lions in this area was lost a few years ago. I used to think that this environment and territory was too small for these wild animals and I felt a little sad for them, but well...
I took these photos from several cages. The Iranian leopard seemed to have gotten older and was not as lively as in the first years, and maybe we had not visited at a good time and it was time to rest for them.

The male lion was also very tired and looked very oldI always wanted to visit the cage of lions, leopards and tigers. Next, we visited the rest of the animals in the zoo and I will show you some selected photos.

When we went a little further, the smell of watermelon was wrapped in the atmosphere. When we followed the smell, we saw these animal species that looked like camels and a little more special, they are eating watermelon. They had very interesting faces. Narrow neck and long legs.

These were species of birds that were called peacocks, and we studied their characteristics from the sign on their cage. At first glance, it looked like a swan or a pelican in my opinion.

25.jpg

When I saw these peacocks, I remembered to stop and see them show off their beautiful tails. But no matter how long we stood, nothing happened. A few people I asked said that the male peacock usually has a long tail and usually opens his tail during mating or feeling scared and wants to attract the female towards him or defend himself. . And usually female peacocks have shorter tails.
It was good to add to my information.

These cages belonged to a type of barbarian sheep, and according to several people who had come many times, they said that they can jump up to two meters high and are very agile. At first glance, it was not clear at all.

These were a selection of animal cages that I put, but in the end, I feel a little sad for the animals that live in confined cages, when they should live in the wild according to their nature, hunt, breed and...
If they are limited in this space. bu..
.

The elephant and chimpanzee of this zoo were apparently attractive, but unfortunately they were also lost.

This zoo is a big space. The green space and all the games and entertainment equipment and the park-like area where we went around with friends. But the feeling of wild environment made me think and I didn't photograph its other seasons.
But overall it was an interesting experience. Animals next to humans. And how cruel humans can be.

I hope you like it too.
God willing, whenever you come to holy Mashhad in Razavi Khorasan, visit this zoo which is at the end of one of Mashhad's famous boulevards called Vakil Abad Boulevard.

In the end, I will share the location of this zoo with you.
