Creating professional portraits with lighting in the studio

Hello to all artist friends and lovers of photography lovers
I hope you are fine and your cameras are full of pure and special moments.
I am so glad to be with you as always.
The warm tail of all the world with your love and artistic look makes the world more beautiful.

Honestly, I wanted to share a experiencesexperience with you.
Some time ago I had a portrait photography session in the studio, which was a lot of exciting and exciting. From lighting and gesture to the choice of backgrounds, and the mood of the photos, everything came together to get a special experience.
I said it is not bad to put some of the photos and even what I learned here with the artist's friends, both for the exchange of experience, and if anyone wants to go to the portrait photography in the atelier, would have a better view.

I took a few portraits from a Smok maker model that I was very much in touch with. I chose a black background to focus more on the face and the mood of the photos a little more mysterious and special. Most of my focus is on light and shade to make the photos stronger.

In portrait, there was always something to me: Black Background. In the atelier, the first option I come up with is because it gives some kind of backyard. It helps the viewer of the lamb on the face, a really deep and effective result. It is as if the model has come out of the darkness and it's just important.

When I am portrait, I always want to try a few different modes; Both with a smile and no smile. Both a direct look at the camera, and a look that is overwhelmed by thinking and looking at a distant spot. This variety of feelings and angles make the photos more realistic and alive in the face, and I can hunt for a situation that is most important.

In my experiences, hands play an important role in the sense of portrait photo. Sometimes the gesture becomes more complete and natural with just a simple move on the face or leaning under the face. But on the other hand, some subjects when they are in the box, get a little disrespectful or they don't know what to do with it. So, depending on the character of the model and the photo space, I always decide whether the hands are in the picture. Sometimes removing the hand makes it more focused on the look and face, sometimes adding it to the photo.

Today's model was a little more sensitive and natural. So I left more time and tried several different modes with it - whether in terms of gesture, whether or not it is in the box. Some of the modes were easier to do with it, some I suggested to see what would work better. Finally you see the moments that really felt, here.

This time I decided to try all the modes from the angle. It is an angle that always makes me feel good and thought. With today's model, all the modes, whether with a smile, without a smile, or with a direct look, or with a far look, we took this angle. Helped us to understand the modes better.

This time, I decided to choose a little widespread photo cadrery so that I could picture more depth and bring more elements of the environment in the box, which helps to convey more space in space. I also went to cinematic coloring for editing; That is, I set the tonality a little darker and the colors more accurately to create a special and dramatic way, so that the photo looks more like a frame than a regular photo.

For this lighting, I used three light sources, each of which has their own role

The first light was the main light, which was shining from a particular angle of approximately 2 degrees to the subject. This light determined the form and volume of the subject and made the details see good.

The second light was the filler light that I put it less intensified from the opposite side of the main light so that the shadows were not too sharp. This light helped make me more balanced and natural lighting.

The third light was the light that was shining from behind the subject to the background. This light caused the subject's edges to be separated from the black background and create a gentle shine around the subject that enhanced the sense of depth and space.

This combination of lighting made the image professional, and at the same time feel good 3D.

Hope you enjoyed today's photography session. Working in this space with black backgrounds and triple lighting was a very interesting experience for me, and it makes me happy to share this feeling with you. Thank you for being accompanied, until the next meeting
Goodbye.

Good portraits, everything is part of the language that harmonises the photos and even more so if it is a person as the subject of the photos.
