The Diwali Festival
A few days ago, there was a festival called Diwali, which is a big festival in India, where everyone decorates their homes with lights and brightens them up.
I live in Jaipur for my studies, which is a different town. When I get to know that Diwali is coming, I packed my things and left for my hometown because I wanted to enjoy this festival with my family.

As I was leaving for my hometown, I saw on the road that there were many Ravana statues, which we burn on Dussehra before Diwali, as a sign of In the joy of the victory of good over evil.

Diwali is a very special and my favorite festival for me, I and all my family members decorate our house together and burn lots of crackers and I really enjoy it.

This time when I came home on Diwali, the first thing I did was go with my uncle to buy crackers and since crackers are my favorite part of Diwali, I bought a lot more crackers from the shop.

Then I met my younger brother who is my uncle's son and I had a lot of fun with him and enjoyed a lot with him.. Because I like children very much, so I like playing with them and I also like my brother very much, so I clicked a lot of photos of him also.

When Diwali festival comes, everyone decorates their houses with lights and it is really a beautiful sight. When you go to the market at night, all the houses around you are seen decorated with lights and there is light and positive vibes everywhere.
I also decorated our house with lights and then helped my mother decorate the rooms. I really love decorating my house and I really enjoy doing it.

On Diwali, everyone lights earthen lamps outside their homes, as it's a sign of prosperity and good health for the family. So, I joined my mother at home and lit earthen lamps outside. We wore traditional clothes on Diwali, as everyone in India wears traditional clothes during festivals.

Then, we all performed puja together, and after that, my sister and I took lots of photos in traditional clothes.

And the most exciting and my favourite thing is bursting crackers, I enjoyed that too and safely enjoyed Diwali with my family.

Enjoying all these festivals with my family is a very special feeling for me. Whenever there is a festival at home, everyone in the house is very happy and I feel very good seeing everyone happy and that is why Diwali is my favourite festival.

I tried my best to capture all these photos of this festival to share with you all on this blog and i hope you all liked these photos and also enjoyed by reading this blog.
