My first high key in Alana

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge

Alana is my daughter, and these photos were taken by @randybpics at Celebren Studio for her two-month celebration. It was her first experience under a lens and lights, but she behaved really well. We had other ideas, but due to the cold weather that day, we postponed them for future sessions. Originally, these photos are in color, but when I have a little time at home, I try out editing applications. I usually use Adobe Photoshop, InShot, and VN for videos.

This time, I opted for the first one. @manuphotos gave me some advice on how to achieve High Key, and I really liked the result. Despite not usually being a fan of black and white baby photos, I loved these because they highlight her eyes and expressions so well.
I'm gradually experimenting with photo edits, and I'll also try doing it from my laptop, which is usually more comfortable and I think would yield better results.

Hello @aylenmp and welcome to the black and white community.
Please keep in mind that all the images posted should be shot by the person who makes the post. That's our take on original content. 🙂

Hi, I am not the photographer but I do have the ownership of the photos and I also did the edition of it. In addition I added my view that I doesn't has to be ths same as the photographer and that is a different content but that's my perspective. Is you think because of that the content is no original, is ok.

Thanks for the feedback.

I didn't say you don't have the ownership of the photos, but since we run a photographic competition what is fair is to reward the photographers themselves, that's all.
Anyway, as I said above it's our take on what we consider valid as a #monomad entry. I never said you can't use the images.
