The largest temple in the world is indeed more beautiful when photographed in a monomad frame. The entire surface of the temple, which is estimated to have been built in 800 AD, is in the same black and white colors. Likewise, the sky shines brightly around the temple which has 2,672 relief panels around its walls.

Photographing Borobudur Temple is like traveling back in time. Borobudur is said to be one of the places you must visit before you die. Moreover, seeing the sunrise emerging from the top of the Borobudur temple stupa. That is one luxury that not all the rich people in this world have.

Many celebrities go to Magelang, Central Java, to enjoy the sunrise rising from the top of the stupa. They entered Indonesia secretly and booked a hotel near the Borobudur temple without many people knowing. The mass media only learned that several celebrities had visited Borobudur temple after the celebrities posted their photos on their social media accounts.

So, I am lucky because I have visited Borobudur temple about four times. Whenever I can take as many photos as I like, I have also learned yoga and meditated at the foot of Borobudur temple and felt the warm rays of the morning sun brushing the surface of my body. I was able to enjoy this luxury when I was an invited guest at the Borobudur Writer and Cultural Festival, an arts and cultural event held every year.

Dari Puncak Keajaiban Dunia, Borobudur: Monomad

Adalah tiada bedanya, Candi Borodubur dipotret dalam bentuk monomad maupun penuh warna. Semuanya akan terlihat hitam putih pada akhirnya, kecuali pakaian para pengunjung yang terlihat warna-warni.

Candi terbesar di dunia itu memang lebih indah bila dipotret dalam bingkai monomad. Seluruh permukaan candi yang diperkirkan dibangun tahun 800 Masehi itu, senada dengan warna hitam putih. Demikian juga dengan langit yang bersinar terang di sekitar candi yang memiliki 2.672 panel relief di sekitar dindingnya tersebut.

Memotret Candi Borobudur seperti melakukan perjalanan ke masa silam. Borobudur disebut sebagai salah satu tempat yang wajib dikunjungi sebelum kamu meninggal. Apalagi melihat sunrise menyembul dari atas stupa candi Borobudur. Itu adalah salah satu kemewahan yang tidak dimiliki semua orang kaya di dunia ini.

Banyak pesohor dalam ke Magelang, Jawa Tengah, untuk menikmati sunrise yang menyembul dari puncak stupa. Mereka masuk ke Indonesia secara diam-diam dan memesan hotel di dekat candi Borobudur tanpa sepengetahuan banyak orang. Media massa baru mengetahui beberapa pesohor itu sudah ke candi Borobudur setelah para pesohor memposting foto-foto mereka di akun sosial media.

Jadi, saya beruntung karena sudah berkunjung ke candi Borobudur sekitar empat kali. Setiap bisa memotret sepuasnya, saya juga pernah belajar yoga dan semedi di kaki candi Borobudur serta merasakan hangatnya sinar matahari pagi menyapu permukaan tubuh. Kemewahan itu bisa saya nikmati ketika menjadi tamu undangan dalam Borobudur Writer and Cultural Festival, sebuah event seni dan budaya yang digelar setiap tahun.
