Here is a white water rafting track.

One of the tourist destinations in Takengon, Aceh Tengah (Indonesia) is Lukup Badak. When people mention that name, people immediately think of Lukup Badak white water rafting, which has now become one of the favorite destinations. I will post photos of rafting in Lukup Badak in the #monomad community later.

But I have to carefully select and sort the photos that I may have posted on social media accounts. I agree that the photos posted here must be exclusive, although sometimes we forget because it could be that one of the friends in the photo has posted it on a social media account.

Well, one of the destinations that is also found in Lukup Badak is the Krueng Peusangan river crossing. This location is located right on the side of the road to the Lukup Badak white water rafting. Even when here, tourists will often see tourists enjoying white water rafting. Sometimes, they cheered happily.

People are putting up billboard advertisements on the road to tourist locations. As usual, where there are crowds there are advertisements.

This tourist location is located about 2 kilometers before heading to the Lukup Badak white water rafting. So, this could be another option, especially for families because this destination seems designed for children. In this place there are several bungalow units that can be rented for IDR 800,000 to IDR 1,000,000 per night (around 125 to 156 hives at the exchange rate when this post was made). There are two to three rooms in it so the price is relatively cheaper.

Here, we can hear flowing river water and the sounds of nature. Even during the day when the children are noisily swimming and screaming with joy, occasionally we still hear the sound of birds.

The parking area is also spacious here so that visitors can be more comfortable and safe because at night, a portal is installed at the entrance so that people cannot go in and out without the manager's permission. This is done for the convenience of travelers.

One of the favorite places. The photo becomes less beautiful if taken in a landscape position.

I spent the whole day at this place and took photos with a Canon SLR D-100 camera. Apart from photographing all the objects that I thought were interesting in that place, I also photographed my friends at several interesting points, including a bamboo bridge which seemed to be a favorite place for all tourists.

There are many green trees here that refresh the eyes. Coupled with the cool air temperature (around 20 degrees Celsius), visitors will feel a different atmosphere compared to other areas in Aceh which are known for being hot.

As input for the management, this place should provide more toilets or rest rooms because on weekends or holidays, visitors have to queue for a long time. Rest room cleanliness must also be improved to increase comfort.

One more thing that I found very disturbing was the presence of a troop of ducks swimming in a pond that was provided for visitors. The duck squad was indeed swimming elsewhere, not joining the pool often used by children. However, the rotten smell of the duck troops gave off a very unpleasant odor. I don't know why ducks are allowed to swim near visitors.[]

One of the drawbacks of this place, we sometimes have to share the place with ducks.

Tourists take selfies; as usual.
