Writing Topics for the Weekend - WEEK 152 Famous or not?

Just as I always says, everyday is a chance to discover new things and I'm glad for discovering something new in these topics @galenkp have brought up this weekend.

Going straight to the topic,

Would you like to be famous or not? Make a choice and explain why?

Being famous of course can mean different thing to different people depending on the type of fame or celebrity.
In general, being famous is having high level of attention and recognition by the public often due to some kind of achievements or accomplishments by the person that is the general definition but then I define it in this way, being famous is having the ability to change people's lives with your accomplishments or achievements.

We now attribute fame to be musicians, politicians, sports men/women, movie stars etc. as famous people forgetting the very people who are changing lives with their little effort. Because they are not on the media we don't see them as famous,
per the analogy I'm making, I will rather choose to be famous.***

Nobody is famous by default, it takes effort and commitment for someone to earn recognition from the public. Being famous is something we don't just attain in a day, rather, it takes time by doing what you do best. Being famous is by achieving something spectacular that occasionally beyond people's expectations or has never been done before. Being famous used to be extremely tough in the past when the media was not as well-known, but now it is rather simple to become famous. In contrast to Isaac Newton's and other time, when you had to be so special to be accepted by the world as famous, but now you can become famous in your own tiny way with the media and gain popularity.
Someone will have a view about what the public will say or utter against especially when you do something wrong, let me clear this, being famous does not make us saints and we are free to think or do things just as ordinary people may fancy to do.

For instance, I just gave a radio interview on the different Hive projects taking place in Ghana, and as a result, some of my friends have dubbed me as being famous. I didn't have to do anything exceptional, but by assisting others in overcoming obstacles, they see me as famous.
If doing this has made me famous, I vowed to keep being renowned till I passed away.

We sometimes consider the difficulties of achieving fame, and we might prefer to give up on our goals by telling the world who we are. It is up to us to define our fame for the world, not how the world defines fame for us.
Once again, I'm on course becoming famous and Hope one day, the world will remember me for my existence.
Thank You for the attention.
