December 2 2023 - A cold 🥶 Parkrun 🏃♂️
It was a cold start this morning. About -2 C when I went out for the Saturday Parkrun. There was a lot of ice about and the path had been coned off in places by the volunteers to help prevent accidents.
I usually take my tracksuit top off after warming up in the first lap not today.
I did a good warm up session before the run so felt ready for it.
I completed the run in just under 25 and half minutes. Just a second slower than my course fasted. So weather wasn't all bad!

Wow! That's a nasty area of icy path. I remember ending up on my back cycling along a frozen path a few years ago!

It was cold!! My wife thought I was mad. Me and 200 other runners!
Luckily I didn't slip. The volunteers did a good job of making the course safe.
