September 9 2023 - Parkrun Saturday in the heat

I hadn't been able to do a Parkrun for a few weeks due to travel and holidays etc. I was in too minds to go this morning. It was just too hot! 🔥 🥵

It was already 23C when we started and 24C by the time we finished. I don't run too well in the heat so I took it easy. I was 2 minutes slower than my normal time bit not too bothered by that. It was a bit of fun. Just hot fun.

After relaxing at home for a while, I did the weekly shop. The car was parked in the sun and said it was 37C when I left the supermarket. Crazy for September!

Another couple of hot days and then it looks a bit cooler.
