December 22 2022 - My prism insert
I had to go to hospital for a couple of check ups today. Those hospital have lots of corridors so I got some steps in during the visit.
The doctors were happy with my progress. I got given a prism insert for my glasses which will help my eyesight seem better while my nerves controlling my eye movements repair. I was a bit skeptical but it does seem to help. The physio also gave me some exercises to do but cleared me to start running again as long as my eyesight is good enough.
So, I went out for an evening walk and my eyesight did seem better with the prism insert.
I will see if I can do a short run in the next few days, hopefully convince one of my kids to come with me whilst I get back into it. Haha, that will be the hardest part 😅
I didn't find any amazing lights on my 5 km route, just the house above. Not much this year. Cost of living crisis?

There does seem to be a reduction in house decoration compared to pre-covid levels. Shame really, but it's something we have never actually done ourselves.
