Walking accompanied by birds, shadows, and magic.

Many places where you can take perfect walks can change over time, in shape, things that are no longer there, new trees, new views, but the magic of a place does not change, because that magic is given by nature.

I remember one of the first times I visited this large and charming park. In the middle of the island of palm trees, there was a small boat, a real boat, I suppose because of its proximity to the sea or because it had been placed there as a form of decoration.

On subsequent visits, much later, the boat was gone and in its place a huge number of pigeons, seagulls, and ducks filled that space of eternal magic, but now in a more lively way.

All parks or gardens with water fascinate me, I think because of the connection I have with it, as it means emotions. I like the reflections, the freshness around it, and how the vegetation reacts to this source of life.

On the other hand, the trees provide much-needed shade these days so that you can take a slightly cooler walk. It has been intensely hot, but I have experienced much worse summers in my life; these are mild in comparison. Three or four intense days and then calm returns.

It is always beautiful to walk under the shade of the trees, and in cases where there are cooler spaces, they are ideal for having a refreshing drink and admiring the landscape. I love sitting on the grass and feeling the contact of my hands on it. Touching the earth is a release that I often need, as if it frees me from stress. In fact, it does.

Speaking of shadows, many times, if not almost all the time, I take photographs not with the intention of capturing them, but they are there and they are very beautiful, as if telling me that they are an oasis from the heat and that they will help me rest and relax. I like to see the shapes they draw on the ground or the grass. Little things in life, seeing shapes in shadows, clouds, rocks...

On my walk in this park, there are many seats, but I prefer to feel the ground, to be able to touch it and reconnect with nature. If you look closely, there are many shaded areas. This park is very close to the sea, so it is doubly cool. When the breeze comes from the south or southeast, it is comforting.

Sitting on the grass, I can see the children's playground, the tree-lined landscapes, the sculptures, and when I am still, things look different, calm.

When I decided to resume my walk, I headed for the artificial lake I mentioned at the beginning, which has an island with palm trees in the center. Many were waiting for me there, many ducks. I think they were waiting for me somehow.

I walked all the way around the lake so I could admire them from all angles. Some even posed for me before going swimming. Others were swimming with their mother; they were very small.

I loved seeing this, a little duckling following its mother, as if learning the way to the water.

From time to time, a pigeon wanted to be in the photos, but I didn't say anything to them; they are beautiful too.

I think the stars of this walk were them, who delighted my eyes and made me laugh. They are very funny. But also, looking at them closely and standing in front of them meant that they weren't scared and were spontaneous. I really enjoyed watching them swim. Nature is truly amazing and beautiful.

It was a relaxing, refreshing walk with excellent company and close to the water that gives life. I enjoyed it very much.

Thank you very much for accompanying me today. I send you my best regards. See you soon.
Amonet.

Hello Amonet, good morning.

I wish I had a park as big as this one here in my city. I also love places with lots of water.

I like the children's play area and the palm island. What a beautiful and relaxing walk through this lovely place.

Have a lovely afternoon.

Yes, in summertime, it's a little harder to walk along the trails and in the parks, but the breeze from the trees helps a lot, and surrounded by so much natural beauty, we forget all those negative details.

A sort of aquatic pigeon… 😂 of course these strolls are great for health. And watching the ducklings swim is super relaxing.

There were mostly very small ducklings, so cute! The pigeon wanted me to interview her... nosy!🤣

What a pristine looking park. It does look very hot there. The wild life seems to be happy enough on the water. I liked the low angle of this shot with the beautiful row of palms in the distance.

Walking and strolling like this is always relaxing. I like the artificial lagoon, here there was one near the obelisk of the city. It was an international reference, it had ducks and birds of all kinds. The plague came to power and devastated it.

The most unfortunate thing is that they built a horrible mass of cement for skateboards to play there. Imagine the horror.

For me, recreational and common spaces are vital, more so when they have a high amount of bushes. :)

There are plagues, like that one, that destroy everything... I can imagine what you mean, it must have been beautiful and an ideal place to relax the mind. Many people need that. Thank you very much!!!

Hi @avdesing, another great walk. You're right, touching the ground is very relaxing, and so is walking among the trees. I really enjoyed seeing the protagonists of this walk, and I also enjoyed seeing that pigeon, who was also demanding attention.

Thanks for the walk. Best regards.

I told nanixxx that the pigeon wanted me to interview her, but I was interviewing the ducks. She wanted to steal the limelight. I'm already making up a story, ha ha ha. Thank you very much!

I don't think she wanted to steal your spotlight, she probably thought that a bird had never interviewed her before and that this was her opportunity... and in fact you're already inventing another one.
