The nymphs of the park.
The magic of nature often intermingles with art, and nature is the greatest creator of art in the world, although some artists collaborate with her.
There is a place in the city, actually, several places, but one in particular, where walking its paths creates magic with every step. Within a wonderful park full of plant species, artificial lakes and artificial lakes there is another park, one that is dedicated to art in sculptures. A great natural museum that is very difficult to separate from its surroundings.
Walking through these spaces you come across white sculptures, where their splendour unites with the sunlight to shine in the middle of the green of the park.
I don't know what name they have, but I called them the nymphs of the park, it's the first thing that came to my mind, because they accompanied me on every step I took along the different paths and routes within the park.
They have a detail, they don't have heads, or at least not in the human way, and if I start to imagine they could be the guardians of the place. Some of them are lying down and taking a rest, many of them I think twins, admiring the water fountain of the artificial lake with its birds.
Others are guarding the stairs that allow you to climb a wall and have incredible views from the top. Guarding a particular path in the park, they stand tall and firm on the ground and welcome all visitors. They are always ready and attentive, they do not leave their place and do their job.
Their sisters, the more carefree nymphs who lie on the ground sunbathing, take life in a different way. But I think they take turns when people don't see them, because life can't always be about partying, and it can't always be about guarding. There must always be a balance. Only human beings don't know it, but they take turns.
They have told me in my ear when I passed by them, they are very friendly and gave me advice on the most beautiful places to visit.
These nymphs or what I call park nymphs were created by a German artist, he created all the sculptures in the park, his name was Stefan von Reiswitz and he passed away in 2019 leaving an impressive legacy in these beauties, in this art.
His works overflow in mythology and fantasy, I think he never suspected that his nymphs would talk. But don't tell anyone. Fantasy is like that, everyone can give free rein to their imagination. They have no head, that struck me, but it is possible that they are all united in the biggest head of all, which is Mother Nature.

This artist generated with his art a real open air museum and it is one of the things I like to find in my tours, today I wanted to focus on these nymphs, they decorate so perfectly the paths and the lake that it is a beauty to see them at every step.
I liked the details of their making, I enjoyed taking pictures of them from different angles and they posed for me very willingly.
Thank you for joining me in this view of art and nature today. I wish you a good Sunday. See you soon.
Amonet.
All photographs are my own.

What awesome statues!
Walking in that park is truly magical. Thank you!
Beautiful! ✨ Those plant species really add to the magical atmosphere. Can't wait to see more! 🌿
I'll go again soon, there's so much more, thank you!
Good morning, dear friend @avdesing
Nature is undoubtedly the greatest of artists; it creates truly beautiful things.
What a charming place, a true open-air museum, the works are truly beautiful.
Have a beautiful Sunday.
Love to the whole family.
It's an amazing place, thank you! Good Sunday to you and the family!
How are you, Amonet? Good morning.
What beautiful places your city has. You're always surprising us with beautiful places, full of art and natural beauty to see.
It's great that you connect with these sculptures and get advice on which beautiful places you should visit.
Your photographs are very beautiful.
Have a beautiful Sunday afternoon.
Thank you very much for your beautiful comment, it's a beautiful place! Lovely day!
Beyond your nice conversation with the nymphs, since you asked us not to say anything to anyone... I was very struck by the fact that you pointed out Stefan von Reiswitz, a painter and sculptor with Dadaist and surrealist influences. I have read a bit about him because I always like to learn new things and I found that he also sculpted a Unicorn. Have you seen it?
Of course I have seen it and I will bring it back soon!!!! I've seen it many times and the day I bring it will be for you!
😊 oh...
Hi @avdesing, I really liked this tour among “nymphs”. The sculptures that you show us today by Stefan von Reiswitz create me the feeling of being in a dream, maybe they are the watchers of the dreams of someone we don't see... thank you very much for this walk so strange and beautiful at the same time.
A big hug and happy end of Sunday.
The first time I saw them I loved them and there are more at the other end and of a different kind of sculpture, more spectacular. Thank you, good night!
Good night, maybe today I will be accompanied in my dreams by those sculptures or the ones I have not seen yet.
Hasta tomorrow and thank you!!! 👋
There are animals that I can tell you, good night!👋
👋
What a curious set of sculptures. I wonder why the artist didn't put heads. They look like tentacles or snail shells.
I think it's the last option, but I don't know why they didn't think about it... that's strange...
